Maddie Hunter is founder and president of Hunter Unlimited, Inc., a
leadership and personal development consulting practice. Maddie has 20
years of experience as an organizational and leadership coach. Her
expertise in coaching, leadership development and group facilitation was
honed in her role as Team Effectiveness Consultant to the Bell
Laboratories R&D community. In her 15-year career at Lucent and Avaya,
Maddie was recognized for her capacity to coach individuals to
communicate across functional, national, cultural, gender and language
differences. She accomplished this through customizing effective
coaching strategies for all levels of leadership within the companies.
As an executive coach, Maddie brings deep talent and insight about how
to guide clients to gain clarity about who they are, what they stand for
and how to move towards their goals. She has been an executive coach and
facilitator with The Senior Leadership Program for Professional Women, a
program held at The Institute for Women at Rutgers University. In
addition, Maddie’s coaching client list includes leaders from AT&T,
Verizon, American Express, Johnson and Johnson, Boehringer-Ingelheim,
Merck, AstraZeneca, Novartis, JP Morgan Chase, Oracle, Deloitte & Touche,
Chubb Insurance, Prudential Insurance, Lockheed Martin, New York
Presbyterian Hospital and The American Cancer Society. Currently, Maddie
is an adjunct trainer with Stevens Institute of Technology and is
teaching a leadership development curricula to leaders in leading
hospitals within New Jersey.
Maddie brings to her coaching a BA in Child Psychology from Connecticut
College and a MA in Organizational Studies from New York University, in
addition to studies in computer science and Gestalt therapy. She has
received advanced training in executive coaching, Dialogue, mediation
and conflict resolution, innovation and creativity as well as
large-systems change technologies. Maddie is a member of the New Jersey
Professional Coach Association and the International Coaches Federation.
As a Multiple Myeloma survivor, she co-leads the The Philadelphia
Multiple Myeloma Networking Group, serves as a patient member of the
SouthWest Oncology Group and represents the Myeloma community at
world-wide medical proceedings . Maddie lives in Metuchen, NJ, with her
teenaged son, Will.
